Facilitate informed decision making throughout the pregnancy continuum. Practice within the parameters of Trust policies and guidelines, and within scope of practice. Work collaboratively within the multi disciplinary team and other agencies when necessary. Practice autonomously and escalate appropriately. Manage workload and time effectively. Establish and maintain effective communication with women and their families. Encourage health promotion in line with the public health agenda. Appropriately report incidents in line with the Trust reporting process. Protect and safeguards women and babies. Act as a role model and mentor to all grades of staff and students, creating a positive learning environment for all.
