Job Summary:
We are looking for someone to join our body shop department as a smart repair technician, working in our dedicated smart repair bay. You will focus on repairing the aesthetics of the vehicles, including alloy wheels, callipers, and bodywork preparation for paint. Additionally, there will be opportunities to move onto one of our mobile smart repair vans which offers an even better salary.
Key responsibilities:
* Prep bodywork that is damaged and ready for painting.
* Prep of alloy wheels and callipers (when needed).
* Use of professional hand tools.
* Use of 1k and 2k fillers, primers, and other products.
* Masking and wrapping vehicles, ensuring clean paint lines and no overspray.
* Mixing of paints on a paint scheme.
* Flat and polishing your jobs after paint.
Qualifications:
Experience in the automotive repair industry, particularly in smart repair and bodywork.

We are looking for a self-motivated, highly skilled painter who can manage a day's work without too much assistance and complete repairs to a competent standard.
Minimum Requirements:
Salary structure: £35,000 - £40,000 basic.
A full clean UK driver's license is essential.
This is a full-time role. You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, and you may be requested to work overtime if the business requires you to do so. You will be required to start at 8:30 am and finish at 5:30 pm.
