Ideally Level 6 (BA Degree in Early Years) with Early Years Professional Status, QTS, EYTS, Montessori with an Early Years qualification.
- A positive individual that loves working as a team.

- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Previous Ofsted inspection experience.

Job Specification:
Job title: Nursery Manager
Responsible to: Director(s), Ofsted.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Showing potential new parents around the nursery and answering their questions.
2. Ultimate responsibility for communication with parents from when children first arrive/settle to when they leave.
3. Leadership of the team, guiding and helping them to deliver outstanding childcare.
4. Providing support and supervision to all staff, including conducting appraisals.
5. Ensuring best practices and policies are followed by nursery practitioners.
6. Planning and delivering a suitable curriculum for children aged 1 to 5 years old.
7. Ensuring compliance with OFSTED and statutory requirements.
8. Managing administrative tasks, including maintaining children's records and handling invoices.
9. Ensuring the nursery operates at target occupancy.
Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year as a deputy manager in a nursery, or several years as a manager elsewhere.
Required Skills:
Thorough knowledge of the EYFS, effective communication with parents, and good level of spoken and written English.
Emotional Characteristics:
Confidence as a leader, stable and dependable, problem-solving attitude, resilience, and ability to take constructive criticism.
