About the Role
TÜV Rheinland Europe seeks a seasoned Health, Safety, and Environment Specialist to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) Management Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all QHSE activities across TÜV Rheinland Solution Groups and support services.
* Engage with external bodies, including customers, Certification Bodies, and regulatory authorities.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide essential leadership and expert advice to management and staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Key duties include:
* Developing and implementing QHSE standards and procedures.
* Maintaining compliance with ISO certifications.
* Liaising with external bodies during audits.
* Providing QHSE advice and support to management and staff.
* Identifying and addressing QHSE training needs.
* Monitoring QHSE KPIs.
* Executing an internal QHSE audit program.
* Implementing QHSE controlled procedures.
* Coordinating investigations into accidents and incidents.
* Providing risk assessment support and approval.
* Fostering a culture of safety and quality within the organization.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in a QHSE role within the industry, along with NEBOSH certification and ISO Audit experience.
Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
