Job Title: Graduate Teaching Assistant
Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Contract Type: Term-time only (Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30)
Start Date: Immediate and rolling starts available
What you will be Doing:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to support pupils in their academic and personal development. You will play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential - particularly those with additional needs or who may be facing barriers to learning.
Your responsibilities may include:
1. Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, including those with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
2. Assisting in classroom activities and lesson preparation
3. Helping to manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
4. Using a range of holistic and creative approaches to engage pupils
5. Supporting students with a range of learning needs, including emotional, social, and mental health challenges
