We are excited to announce an opportunity for a MC Crew – IT Technician to join our IT department. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the management, configuration, and reimaging of our student laptop MC Click fleet across our college buildings, while being an integral part of our thriving academic community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a MC Crew – IT Technician, you will:
Collaborate on IT-related projects as directed by the project coordinator.
Image and clean student laptops for distribution.
Ensure that all eligible students receive a laptop.
Assist in managing the college’s IT assets.
Maintain current experience in an IT-related field or demonstrate a strong desire to gain such experience.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek candidates who:
Hold Grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent).
Hold Level 2 Certificate in an IT related subject or be willing to work towards within an agreed timescale.
Have a personal commitment to keeping your professional knowledge up to date and improving your capabilities.
Have good oral and written communication skills with a capacity to deal effectively with staff, students, parents, employers, and others.
Have good time management, administrative and organisational skills.
Have a commitment to undertake any mandatory training relevant to the role.
