Lighting and Grid Administrator

Here's what you will be doing
You will carry out a variety of administrative tasks in support of the Lighting and Grid business activity in order to provide excellent service to our customers.
As part of the role you will assist with the day to day running of a busy and demanding Lighting and Grid Depot.
You will assist in the preparation and management of documentation, ensure effective programming of work to meet customer and company timescales and maintain accurate records.
You will attend regular briefings, participating in feedback processes and raising questions to ensure personal understanding at all times.
Not only will you liaise with a variety of internal and external customers, you'll also maintain and build relationships with colleagues at all levels across Lighting and Grid and the wider business.
Main responsibilities
* The delivery of a flexible, high quality, customer focused and cost effective service within Lighting and Grid.
* Provide support services for employees.
* Maintain company procedures and systems under the guidance of management.
* Gather and process financial, personnel, sales and operational data from staff and manual/electronic systems.
* Take full ownership and responsibility for personal health and safety, and for others who may be affected by actions.
* Continuously improving the way in which Lighting and Grid operates.
* Respecting the confidentiality of Lighting and Grid information.
* Be proactive about and take ownership of all aspects of safety, health, environmental and quality issues related to work and the impact on ourselves and others.
* To assist with running of the depot facilities on a day to day basis.
* Managing room booking and assisting with depot visitors.
What we need from you
* Previous customer service experience, have the desire to help, service and meet the needs of customers. have a working knowledge of the customer service and guarantees of service requirements
* Actively seek to find out information about things, people or issues and will ensure they understand the information and can respond to it
* Be able to tackle problems in a logical way taking into account all relevant information and take responsibility for solving a problem and seeing it through
* Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to take a confident and diplomatic approach with staff, colleagues and customers.
* Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and schedule own workload to meet the requirements of his/her own team
* The ability to work under pressure, make decisions and meet tight deadlines
* Numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and information and produce it in a clear and logical format
* A working knowledge of PC based computer systems and the ability to adapt quickly to changes to those systems.
It would be great if you
* Have an understanding of the Lighting & Grid business.
* Have a general appreciation of the distribution network.
* Working understanding of SAP.
