Reed Education are currently exclusively supporting a lovely primary school in Grimsby with their recruitment for a Teaching Assistant to work across Year 6. The school are looking for someone who can begin as soon as possible and work until around May/June 2025. You will work with groups and individuals to deliver interventions to support reading, writing and maths in preparation for SATs.

The headteacher would ideally like someone who has strong classroom management and knowledge of the Upper Key Stage curriculum.

Responsibilities:
1. Supporting both individuals and small groups to bridge gaps and challenge greater depth learning
2. Working collaboratively alongside the class teacher to help monitor understanding and plan next steps
3. Helping to prepare the classroom environment and activities ready for the day and the lessons
4. Admin tasks such as photocopying, laminating and registering attendance
5. Assisting the teacher with producing, making and updating of displays
6. Taking part in school trips, events and activities
7. Attending any additional CPD as required
8. Following the school’s policy for behaviour and maintaining high standards
