Role Overview: The WTG Technician will be responsible for comprehensive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of wind turbine generators (WTGs). The role demands a commitment to maintaining the highest operational standards and strict compliance with safety and environmental policies, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the wind turbines.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on WTGs.
2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
3. Maintain detailed and accurate records of technical data and operational activities.
4. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
5. Collaborate effectively with the site team to optimize turbine performance and reliability.
Requirements:
6. Proven experience as a WTG Technician or similar role in the wind energy industry.
7. Technical certification or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
8. Deep understanding of wind turbine technology, including mechanics, electrics, and hydraulics.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
