Who You Are We are seeking experienced social workers registered with Social Care Wales who have at least 3 years of professional experience. Candidates should have prior experience in fostering, including the completion of Connected Person’s Assessments. You must be capable of working independently while receiving supervision and regular check-ins with a supervisor. It is important that you are residing in Wales. As part of the Foster Wales Cardiff team, you'll need to visit applicants face-to-face at their homes and attend panel meetings, which are held on Wednesdays, to present assessments. What the Job Involves This role involves assessing and preparing prospective kinship carers for presentation to the panel and supporting them on their journey as kinship carers. You will be part of a pool of assessors, contacted by agencies as needed, and responsible for conducting face-to-face visits and presenting your assessments to the panel. Each assessment is compensated at a rate of £2250.
