About the Role
As an Estates Procurement Services Manager, you will work closely with key stakeholders to provide expert procurement guidance, ensuring compliance with public sector regulations and delivering value-driven procurement solutions. From leading tender processes to contract management and supplier evaluation, you'll play a crucial role in shaping procurement best practices within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert procurement advice to support strategic decision-making.
2. Lead and manage tendering processes, ensuring compliance with public sector regulations.
3. Develop procurement strategies and frameworks to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
4. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring service excellence.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive procurement innovation.
6. Use data-driven insights to improve procurement processes and reporting.
Essential Requirements:
1. A degree with relevant procurement experience OR part-qualified in a professional procurement qualification.
2. Strong knowledge of UK public sector procurement regulations and best practices.
3. Experience managing tendering procedures, contract drafting, and supplier negotiations.
4. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
5. Proficiency in procurement and financial systems such as In-Tend and Business World.
6. Ability to work independently while contributing to a high-performing team.
