Role overview
Ilkari is seeking a Financial Planning Analyst to join the Finance & Supply Chain Management Team. This role will contribute to financial planning and analysis, management reporting, investment evaluation, and process improvements, while working closely with the Head of Finance to deliver key financial strategies.
The position involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, providing financial insights, and supporting decision-making processes. This is an opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a growing organisation, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic alignment with business objectives.
What you'll do
1. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights on KPI's.
2. Support the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts.
3. Work on key projects, offering financial guidance and analysis to project managers.
4. Conduct investment analysis for new projects and business initiatives.
5. Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
6. Contribute to the implementation of a new finance system, improving financial processes.
7. Prepare management accounts and support tax reporting and payroll processes.
8. Collaborate with Procurement to track and optimise business costs.
9. Identify opportunities to automate and improve financial reporting.
10. Provide financial insights and analysis to senior stakeholders.
What are we looking for
Technical skills & Experience
1. At least five years of experience in finance, with expertise in financial planning and analysis (FP&A).
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and experience working with finance systems.
3. Accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACA, or ACCA.
4. Experience with accounting software (SAP, D365) and CRM systems.
5. Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and financial modelling.
6. Experience in the technology sector is an advantage.
