All successful applicants will be required to complete our corporate trust induction once a start date had been agreed.
Following your corporate induction you will be expected to attend the Trust's 2-week Induction Programme for RNs, NAs, RMs, ODPs and Paramedics. The programme is full-time (please email mtw-tr.professionalstandards@nhs.net if this is problematic) and will involve travel to both Trust sites. The programme includes supernumerary shifts in the clinical area, classroom-based sessions and e-learning.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Registered Allied Health Professional with HCPC.
* Degree in Human Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent.
* Recognised management / leadership qualification or equivalent experience.
* Communication skills training.
* Clinical Supervisory Skills Course.
* Further training in areas of clinical speciality.
Desirable criteria
* BDA Membership.
* Counselling qualification.
Experience and knowledge
Essential criteria
* Post graduate experience at a senior band or with a good variety of managerial and clinical experience.
* Experience of managing and leading staff.
* To have relevant staff training experience.
* Evidence of multi-agency and partnership working.
* Clinical audit experience.
* Supporting the development of others.
* Extensive and sound clinical knowledge of all areas of specialist dietetic provision based on current best practice.
* High level of clinical expertise within speciality area of competence.
* Knowledge of current issues and research relating to dietetics.
* A clear understanding of Clinical governance issues and controls assurance standards.
* A clear understanding of the modernisation agenda and the role of the Allied Health Professions have within the NHS plan to influence service development and achieve targets.
* Full understanding of HCPC statement of Conduct.
Desirable criteria
* Budget management experience.
* Service development experience including the writing of business cases.
Skills

* Ability to operate at a strategic overview level.
