Key Responsibilities
1. Undertake full solution design of SCADA field systems, telecommunication, and other auxiliary systems for primary and secondary electrical distribution assets.
2. Act as designated contact for internal and external stakeholders for design reviews and subject matter consultations to ensure standards, business compliance, and technical requirements are met.
3. Support procurement, delivery, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
4. Provide training and mentorship for team members and contracting partners on technology, project execution, work processes, and procedures.
5. Support the process of transformation from concept throughout to the business-as-usual adoption as part of the journey towards reaching overall business goals.
6. Manage multiple concurrent tasks of various dimensions; creativity, problem solving, work prioritizing, and time management are essential aspects of this role.
Requirements
1. Hold a degree (or suitably qualified with strong experience) in Computing, Science, Electronics, or Engineering. Previous experience in a similar context is preferred.
2. Working experience in Substation Control Systems, Distribution Grid Automation, RTUs, IEDs, Operational Technology Networks, and competency in common Serial/TCP based electrical utility SCADA protocols and standards.
