We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Administrator to join our team within Vistry West Yorkshire, at our Wakefield office. As our Construction Administrator, you will provide secretarial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Construction department and the developments.
Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to all contracts managers and site-based management to ensure the smooth running of the developments.
* Produce the monthly health and safety reports, and board reports.
* Production of Site Set-Up Folders and display documents.
* Assist in receipt of required weekly information to office.
* Book in, record and monitor all training requirements for all site-based staff.
* Maintain an accurate and efficient filing and archive system in line with Life of Site and Viewpoint systems.
* Be familiar with the Company’s health, safety, and environmental policy.
* Provide ad-hoc reception cover when required.
* Any other ad-hoc administration duties as and when required.
Qualifications:
* Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in Maths and English.
* Experience of working in an office environment.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Excellent numeric and literacy skills.
* Able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to communicate with colleagues of varying seniority.
* Be able to work well as part of a team and able to use own initiative when required.
* Professional, with a positive outlook.
* Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
* Willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge.
* A commitment to work as required to meet the needs of the business.
* BTEC diploma or certificate in administration.
