As a Teacher of Business and IT, you will: Deliver engaging lessons covering key aspects of business, economics, and IT, ensuring a deep understanding of the subject for all students. Foster an inclusive and motivating learning environment that encourages students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Design and implement effective lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of learning styles and abilities. Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and innovative teaching practices. Provide regular feedback, support, and assessments to monitor and promote students' academic progress. Key Responsibilities: Teach Business and IT at Key Stage 3 and 4. Inspire and engage students through interactive lessons and practical applications. Manage classroom dynamics and promote positive behaviour. Use technology and digital tools to enhance learning and make lessons more interactive. Participate in the school’s extra-curricular activities and help to develop the department further. Qualifications: A relevant degree in Business, IT, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Strong subject knowledge of Business Studies and IT. Experience with relevant teaching platforms and technologies is desirable. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
