Dealing with maintenance issues and refurbishments promptly and effectively. Ensuring our homes are always compliant, safe and really homely. The role requires the ability to co-ordinate and project manage all extension and refurbishment projects, progression and completion. Competencies for the Maintenance & Refurbishment Project Support Co-ordinator Role: Excellent interpersonal skills Organisation and Administration skills Time management with the ability to meet deadlines Able to prioritise workload to achieve SMART objectives Positive, Calm and Confident Self-motivated Negotiation skills Ability to use initiative Day to Day Responsibilities for the Maintenance & Refurbishment Project Support Co-ordinator Role: All ordering and administration of maintenance requirements for all our homes Accountability for completion and reviewing of monthly in-house maintenance checks and external third party checks Manage the maintenance budget and continually identify cost savings Ensure all refurbishment requirements for the homes are prioritised Co-ordinate projects ensuring they are completed within agreed timeframes Co-ordinate completion of Health & Safety related action plans in response to external risk assessments and ensure internal risk assessments are completed when required Essential Requirements for the Maintenance & Refurbishment Project Support Co-ordinator Role: Two years' experience in working in a high volume, fast paced, deadline driven environment Computer literacy (particularly email, excel spreadsheets and word documents) Concise and clear communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent oral communication skills (including on the telephone) Ability to create, follow and embed processes Excellent time management skills and be used to working to deadlines Experience of negotiating prices with contractors and suppliers Experience of project administration Must live within a 20-minute drive of the Jasmine Support Hub Preferred Requirements for the Maintenance & Refurbishment Project Support Co-ordinator Role: Experience of specifically administering maintenance activities Two years' experience of co-ordinating projects One to two years' experience of managing people A little about Jasmine: By prioritising our people, our mission is to provide the highest standards of care to as many elderly residents as possible.
