Job summary This post is central to the successful development and delivery of quality assurance and improvement in the Regulated Care Sector at place and across the ICB, working as part of a team jointly with ICB colleagues and Local Authorities (LA) to improve population health outcomes. This will involve working closely with providers to support their development and to strengthen systems and pathways of care. The post holder is responsible for supporting clinical quality and performance issues and ongoing requirements for all ICB regulated care commissioned services. Responsibilities will include support of performance reviews, quality assessments and the provision of clinical guidance for all commissioned services. Main duties of the job This will be varied and will adapt over time as the ICB develops. However, the postholder is expected to fulfil the following key functions:- Have a working knowledge of service specifications relevant to the care sector and to monitor and support compliance with the standards and component parts. Be responsible for the assessment of provider quality standards and the development of improvement programmes and evaluation of these programmes. Support the Quality and Performance Leads and other members of the team with all aspects of quality monitoring, reviewing quality data and identifying areas of risks/concerns. Support the ICB programme for performance and quality assurance across commissioned Adult Social Care providers. Assess all reported serious incidents conducting incident investigations with appropriate actions. Provide clinical quality and performance support and advice to ICB teams and other stakeholders as appropriate. Take an active role in multi-agency meetings providing support and representation for the ICB Care Sector Quality team.
