With investment and a growth strategy our client have a great opportunity for an Assistant Manager to help launch and run their brand new trade counter branch opening soon in the Leigh area!
Assistant Manager role:
* Working closely with the Branch Manager you will help build and develop relationships with your customers and potential customers, ensuring that a fantastic customer service is delivered and that the branch develops commercially in line with budgets
* As part of a small team this is a hands on role where you will answer enquiries, provide quotes, process orders and follow up quotes
* Help with the day to day branch operations including goods in/out, scheduling deliveries/collections and updating customers and swiftly resolve any issues that arise
* You will also deputise for the Branch Manager, opening / closing, running the branch and cashing up etc
Skills & Experience:
* Previous trade counter based experience within the window & door sector is highly desirable
* Window Order Processing experience is an advantage
* Great people skills – the ability to build and develop great customer and colleague relationships
* The successful candidate will be organised, detailed and customer focused
* Commercially driven – able to spot and maximise opportunities to grow the branch
* Driving licence
Package:
* Basic circa £28-30k DOE + monthly bonus scheme
* Hours are 07.30-16.30 Mon-Thur, 07.30-16.00 Friday and Sat AM on a rota.
