Job Introduction
Landmarc Support Services are currently looking to recruit a Rural Estate Delivery Manager to be based at Wathgill Camp, Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire, DL11 6AH.
Working as part of the North Region Management Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for contractual delivery across the regions, providing technical advice and strategic guidance relating to the Rural Estate to ensure compliance with the contract, Joint Service Publications (JSPs) and statutory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure that plans owned by the Head of Establishment are reviewed, updated and submitted for agreement and signature, including the Integrated Rural Management Plan (IRMP), Rural Estate Task Schedule (RETS), Long Term Forestry Plan (LTFP), and the Grounds Maintenance Plan (GMP).
* Act as the regional focal point for the management of forestry harvesting and marketing initiatives, liaising with the Billable Works team for delivery and head office for strategic direction.
* Ensure all plans are delegated to regional delivery staff, managed to completion, and offer support as required.
* Assist with the maintenance of the Asset Register and GIS, reporting monthly on statutory compliance of assets.
* Be responsible for compliance with natural/historic environmental plans and long term forestry management plans.
* Identify opportunities for income generation and additional tasked works.
* Liaise with all stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of the Rural Estate.
* Support other team members as required, carrying out activities including investigations, auditing, training, creating reports and analysing management information.
* Provide technical guidance and support both regionally and nationally in relation to the delivery of the contract.
* Review works arising ensuring that work is carried out by the most appropriate team.
* Travel throughout the North region to support the teams.
