Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you want to make a real difference in a child’s learning and development? Protocol Education is looking for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Harlow on a full-time basis.
Your Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide individual support to a child with SEN, helping them access learning and build confidence in a nurturing environment. Your key responsibilities will include:
✔️ Providing tailored support in the classroom
✔️ Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence ✨
✔️ Supporting emotional well-being and social development
✔️ Implementing strategies set by the SENCO and class teacher
✔️ Working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
✅ Experience working with SEN children (desirable but not essential)
✅ Ability to build trusting relationships and adapt to individual needs
✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✅ A proactive and positive mindset

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
