The Opportunity
We are exclusively recruiting for a Technical Director, a critical leadership role within our UK operations. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
o Define and communicate the organization's technical vision and strategy.
o Align technical objectives with overall business goals in collaboration with executive leadership.
o Identify and integrate emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
o Lead technical investments, resource planning, and risk management.
2. Technical Excellence
o Establish and oversee robust technical standards and best practices.
o Ensure the consistent delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions across operations.
o Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and creativity.
o Stay ahead of technological advancements to inform and enhance operational strategies.
3. Team Management
o Build and lead a high-performing technical team, including Factory Technical Manager and Customer Technical Manager.
o Define clear goals, roles, and performance expectations for team members.
o Develop and mentor talent, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
o Drive knowledge sharing and communication across departments.
4. Stakeholder Engagement
o Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of technical initiatives.
o Develop and maintain strategic relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
o Represent the organization at technical discussions, industry events, and conferences.
5. Risk Management & Compliance
o Manage technical risks, ensuring data security, compliance, and system integrity.
o Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks and industry standards.

* Extensive experience in a senior technical leadership role, ideally within the food, fresh produce, or FMCG sectors.
