Job Description
As an experienced teaching assistant, you have seen the number of challenges increase for schools over the years. Your experience has led you to look for alternative work, but you remain passionate about working in schools and supporting children. If you are frustrated by your current situation and feel confident to lead intervention groups and cover classes, this role may be an excellent opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead intervention groups to support student progress and achievement
• Cover classes in the absence of teachers, ensuring continuity of learning
• Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement effective lesson plans
• Provide individualized support to students, addressing their specific needs and abilities
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Relevant teaching or education-related experience, preferably in a school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
