Bawso is the lead organisation in Wales providing practical and emotional support to black minority ethnic (BME) and migrant victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, human trafficking, Female Genital Mutilation and forced marriage.
We are seeking to appoint for the following position:
Location: Cardiff
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £26,300 per annum
Contract: Fixed Term up to 31st March 2025
The aim is to work within a community development framework to be responsible for raising awareness of, training on and advocating for victims of Violence against Women (VAW) issues (Forced Marriage, Honour Based Violence (HBV), Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and Human Trafficking) within the Cities and Council of Cardiff/Swansea. To coordinate a VAW raising awareness and training advocacy service to schools, police, social services, health services and community groups within the City and Council of Cardiff.
Role restricted to female applicants only, in accordance with the provisions of the occupational requirement (Equality Act 2010, pursuant to Schedule 9, Part 1).
