Purchasing Manager – Leeds – Salary circa £40,000
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be partnering with a Multi-Award Winning business in Leeds who are looking to recruit a Purchasing Manager to join their team.
This newly created key role will see you managing a small purchasing team and you will help drive cost savings and efficiencies within the supply chain whilst maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

Purchasing Manager Duties:
* Develop and sustain strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers
* Evaluate spending and profit margins across multiple categories, leveraging relationship management skills to negotiate cost-effective deals that meet quality standards
* Oversee daily purchasing operations, ensuring profitable procurement for both stock and non-stock sales orders
* Analyse market trends, forecast demand, and proactively mitigate risks to enhance procurement efficiency
* Establish and maintain an approved supplier database, objectively measuring performance against OTIF and quality benchmarks
* Ensure compliance with import and export regulations
* Identify and implement enhancements to purchasing systems and processes
* Lead and manage the Purchasing Team, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and driving team development
Hours: Full time Monday – Friday
Required skills & experience:
* Purchasing Experience in similar roles (3 years)
* Inventory and Supply Chain Management knowledge
* Strong negotiation skills
* Ability to lead a small team
