This business is now looking for a passionate and organised Bid Coordinator to join their dynamic team and contribute to the growth of our business.
The Role:
As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the bid process for a range of construction and consultancy projects. You will work closely with the bid team, senior management, and key stakeholders to ensure proposals are submitted on time, meet quality standards, and align with client expectations. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage the preparation and submission of bids and proposals for construction consultancy projects.
* Work closely with internal teams to gather relevant information and ensure all proposal documentation is accurate and aligned with client requirements.
* Support the development of bid strategies and ensure compliance with tender specifications and guidelines.
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely delivery of documents.
* Assist with the preparation of presentations and other bid-related materials.
* Maintain bid records and documentation in a systematic manner for future reference and compliance purposes.
* Monitor and track bid deadlines to ensure all submissions are made in a timely and efficient manner.
* Provide administrative support to the bid team as needed.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a bid coordination or administrative role within the construction or consultancy sector.
* Strong understanding of the construction industry and the bid process.
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Experience with bid management software or document management systems is an advantage.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
