Role Description We’re looking for a Client Solutions Architect excited by our mission, who will be a critical part of the team growing our to beneficially transform the small business lending market. This role will be a client-facing leadership role and trusted technical authority within FXE Tech. You will be a senior collaborator who will take the lead on identifying paths to successful implementation and ongoing partnership and feature evolution with our current and prospective Tier 1 Banking Clients while working with the wider FXE team to ensure that feasibility and feature roadmaps deliver these Client commitments. Your profile Design and build robust platform functionality, including developer-friendly APIs, domain and data modelling and integrations with a wide variety of products and financial APIs. A customer-centric mindset and a passion for helping customers succeed. You care deeply about user experience and have a strong interest in product and infrastructure design. You’ve previously worked within a Technical Consultancy focusing on Fintech or Financial Services. Provided technical leadership to Product Engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery of features and contributing to complex project roadmaps. You have several years of experience as a leader, working hands-on in an agile environment while appreciating Client constraints require delivery to agreed scope and timelines. Experience supporting Pre-Sales and Post-Sales activities, performing technical demos, answering technical questions and helping to meet client requirements. Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, proved out on leading technical design discussions and writing supporting documentation. Own ideas from inception to effective execution. Taking a leading role in designing, realising and evolving the technology that underpins the FXE platform. Lead architecture discussions, being the voice of experience helping the team balance flexibility, expediency and scalability. Designing high performance and scalable architecture for our system, services and products whilst aligning with the need to deliver incrementally, fast and often. You have experience across the stack with technologies like TypeScript /Node, Java/Kotlin, or other JVM language, Python, databases (Postgres/NoSQL), PubSub/Kafka/Pulsar, and Cloud platforms like AWS. You have experience identifying cross-cutting problems, proposing solutions, and driving adoption of those solutions across teams with their priorities. You possess a deep understanding of translating product and business goals into great tech. Helping guide clients to integrate with the solutions provided to them by FXE. Partnering with product and commercial team members to present technical demos, both in-person and via remote meetings. Managing Tech Leads approach to delivery of the Client facing roadmap. Work collaboratively with the wider team setting the direction of our technology stack and architecture. Answering questions around technical areas like data, security, platform capabilities, API interactions. Leading technical design exercises and product demonstrations with clients and potential clients Analysing requirements, discussing solutions with stakeholders, creating and maintaining documented technical designs. Continuing to assist customers with troubleshooting, optimisation, and enhancing their use of our products after deployment. Creating a feedback loop by acting as a liaison between customers and internal teams (product, engineering, commercial) to communicate feedback and influence the product roadmap. Work with Product and Technology to shape our tech stack to align with our product & technical roadmap, including converting legacy platforms into microservices. Contribute to developing a culture of intellectual curiosity, engineering excellence, continuous improvement and innovation. Define, improve, and document technical approaches and processes.
