Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Horticulture Recruitment Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in horticulture, with the ability to provide expert advice and solutions to clients regarding recruitment. This role requires excellent relationship management skills and the ability to engage effectively with clients, promoting a positive, motivated, and professional approach to the recruitment process.
With demand for our services at record levels, we now seek an additional Horticultural Recruitment Consultant to join our dedicated team committed to providing a top-class service to our clients throughout the UK and abroad. It is important to us that consultants have a good working knowledge of the horticultural sector.
Responsibilities
1. Provide consultations with our candidates regarding their horticultural work experience and qualifications across the following sectors: Landscaping, Gardening, Garden Centre Retail, and Nursery.
2. Conduct site assessments for horticultural vacancies, meet the team, assess the working environment, and its opportunities for possible candidates.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
4. Assist in lead generation efforts through networking and social media management.
5. Collaborate with the marketing teams to promote our horticultural vacancies and services.
6. Maintain accurate records of consultations, client interactions, and job progress using relevant software tools.
Skills
1. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is advantageous for managing client data effectively.
2. Experience with customer relationship management and tracking client interactions is an advantage.
3. Strong lead generation skills to identify potential clients and opportunities for growth.
4. Good social media management capabilities to enhance brand visibility and engagement within the horticultural community.
5. Knowledge of human resources principles as they relate to team collaboration and client service delivery.
6. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building rapport with diverse clientele.
7. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail in all aspects of horticultural consultancy.

In return, we offer excellent earning potential, consisting of a basic salary (dependent on experience), plus commission. OTE £40K.
