We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Category Insights Manager – Violife, to join our passionate team. In this pivotal role you will harness data to drive insights that shape our product development, marketing strategies and category growth. You will be the bridge between our customers and our brand, translating market trends into actionable insights that deliver sustainable growth.
Main Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture strategic relationships with key retailers by bringing the category strategy and vision to life. Develop tailored joint category plans, using your passion and enthusiasm for plant-based foods to drive category growth.
2. Range Reviews: Influence and shape key retailer ranging decisions by providing compelling insights and analysis, aiming to create category growth and value creation.
3. Performance Monitoring: Serve as the key point of contact for data requests, providing insights and analysis to the wider business. Manage and maintain core business performance updates as part of the monthly category cycle.
4. Consumer Trends & Insights: Lead ongoing trends analysis, providing a consumer lens to the business with up-to-date insights on the wider dairy category.
5. Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and market shifts, providing recommendations to enhance our market position.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Brand, Shopper, and Sales teams to support category-related requests, guiding marketing and sales with consumer, shopper, and market insights.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
1. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG category management, ideally in food or drinks.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into strategic insights, with proficiency in core data platforms such as Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby, and Sainsbury's Insight Platform.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a knack for storytelling through data.
4. A collaborative team player with a hands-on approach, eager to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
5. Passion for plant-based products and sustainability.
