Role overview
This position plays a crucial role within the Supply Chain department based at our Sheffield warehouse facility, serving as a key liaison between customer-facing order management teams, warehousing operations, and logistics providers. As the company undergoes a significant transformation, this role will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing service levels by working with your team to effectively coordinate activities across these key areas.
Key tasks
Key responsibilities for yourself and your team:
* Working with the New Business Delivery team to ensure timely and accurate order processing, meeting customer deadlines and service level agreements.
* Managing the efficient and timely processing of customer returns.
* Coordinating refurbishment activities in partnership with the JLA and our 3PL provider.
* Tracking and analysing key performance indicators (KPIs) for all JLA warehousing operations and our 3PL logistics partners.
* Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.
* Working closely with the inventory team to identify and resolve any stock discrepancies.
* Serving as the primary point of contact for customer and supplier queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
* Providing support for ad hoc requests and participating in improvement projects to enhance inventory management processes.

* Computer literate with experience across the Microsoft office suite and business systems.

* Excellent planning and organisation skills.
* Ability to cope with multiple priorities and changing environment.
Desirable (attributes can be trained or developed)
* Supply Chain and demand planning experience.
* Good knowledge of Excel.
* Experience of working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
