Administrator (FM12464) - Bath, BA2 7AYAbout the roleAre you a flexible, hardworking team player with excellent organisation skills?We are looking to appoint an Administrator who will provide administrative support and customer service to members of Council, Senate, and their Committees.Reporting to the Head of Governance, this role provides you with the opportunity to work within the heart of the decision-making processes of the University.Your role will include the following:-General administrative support including diary management, creation of templates, collation and distribution of agendas and papers.Providing logistical support to Council, Senate, and their Committees including booking rooms, managing attendance, organisation of accommodation and refreshments.Management of access to meetings and papers using the Governance IT systems and managing the archiving of papers.Forward planning including the scheduling of Council, Senate, and Committee meetings for the next academic year.Maintenance of the Governance webpages.Supporting the maintenance of positive relationships with senior stakeholders both inside and outside of the University. About youThe ideal candidate will have:Excellent organisational skillsAbility to provide a high standard of customer serviceExperience of organising events/large meetingsExcellent communication skillsAbility to organise their own work effectivelyExperience of records managementAbility to use digital technology and master new digital skills quicklyAccuracy and attention to detailAn understanding of the UK Higher Education context and/or basic governance processes and procedures would be advantageous.
