About the Role
Stirling Council's Waste Services team is looking for a proactive and innovative Service Development Officer to drive improvements in waste management operations. Reporting to the Waste Collections Team Leader, you will play a key role in developing digital solutions, optimising service processes, and implementing strategic improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage service development projects, improving efficiency and customer experience.
* Analyse and optimise waste collection routes using digital tools.
* Develop and implement digital transformation initiatives within Waste Services.
* Provide training and support to operational staff on new systems and processes.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
About You
* HND/SVQ qualification or equivalent experience.
* Experience in waste management or environmental services, ideally within a local authority.
* Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office and GIS-based software.
* A valid UK driving licence.
