Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic newly registered nurses to join our team. We are a supportive and dynamic team providing specialised care for patients within the Protected Elective Surgical Unit (PESU) at the University Hospital of Wales. PESU plays a vital role in optimising care and outcomes of patients who are undergoing major surgery through the elective stream.
Main duties of the job
We work closely with specialist, medical, nursing, pharmacy and dietetic teams to deliver holistic care to our patients. Working here will provide an excellent experience in acute surgical nursing of this complex group of patients. You will develop in caring for patients who require specialist nursing skills. The skills you will learn are transferable across the care spectrum, due to the variety of patients you will encounter.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
