Applications are invited for a Band 6 radiographer post in Radiology at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin which is situated on the south coast of the Moray Firth within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Moray has many beautiful sandy beaches along the coast which benefits from a dry mild, climate. Elgin is situated in the north east of Scotland, 40 miles from Inverness and 70 miles from Aberdeen. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, who wishes to be a part of our friendly team. This post will allow the candidate to gain a broad spectrum of experience, specialise in CT and further develop your confidence/leadership skills as a radiography professional. The department provides a General Radiography service, including 24 hour A&E cover, Dental, Fluoro, CT, DEXA and Ultrasound, for GP’s, Orthopaedics, Medical, General Surgery, A&E, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Maxillofacial, Theatres and community sites. Radiology supports outpatient clinics for a number of visiting consultants from Aberdeen and Inverness. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the out of hour’s rota providing 24 hour cover in CT and general radiography. The department actively encourages professional development and CPD as well as being involved in Quality Assurance and Clinical Audit programmes.
