Conrad Consulting in partnership with a large scale multi-disciplinary practice based in Telford, Shropshire, have a compelling opportunity for an ambitious BIM Coordinator to join their established team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for you to join a well-renowned practice, boasting an enviable portfolio of clients and projects, predominantly focused on the Healthcare sector. In order to further develop the adoption and implementation of BIM across the business, the practice is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to play a crucial role in the delivery of new and existing projects, across a multitude of intriguing commissions.
The role may suit a Senior Architectural Technologist / Technician with exceptional BIM / Revit capabilities, looking to move into a BIM Coordinator role; however, the ideal candidate will have worked as a BIM Coordinator for several years already.
Desirable attributes and characteristics for the successful candidate will include:
1. Experience of working on a range of projects from conceptual stage through to completion
2. Full understanding of relevant UK BIM Standards is essential
3. Advanced level of understanding of Autodesk Revit is essential, alongside experience in project level BIM Coordination
4. Experience in coordinating and collaborating with other disciplines model changes/perform clash detection
5. Ability to implement BIM standards and development procedures
6. Experience in managing and mentoring architectural teams in BIM workflows
Some responsibilities of the BIM Coordinator include the following:
1. Responsible for the coordination of internal and external design teams' building information models on pre-construction projects.
2. Developing and implementing BIM processes within the design team and wider company.
3. Ensuring pre-construction projects are following company BIM processes and standards once implemented.
4. Managing the common data environment on pre-construction projects.
5. Managing and maintaining Revit family library.
An attractive salary alongside a generous benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate. Salary likely to be in the region of £35,000-£45,000 per annum. Hybrid working is on offer with most members of staff working 3 days in the office & 2 from home.
