About The Function
Our staff are given a wide variety of diversified assignments under the supervision of talented CPAs. At Kreischer Miller, you will have the opportunity to work with business owners in a variety of industries and learn directly from leaders in our firm.
Our Tax Staff:
* Learn and apply the basics of the daily technology used in our Tax Strategies department.
* Assist in tax return planning by forecasting income, preparing estimated payments and planning around special tax events.
* Organize and coordinate clients’ tax data for the accurate, timely completion of Individual returns and simple to complex, Corporate, Partnership, S-Corp, and trust tax returns.
* Support Senior Accountants, Managers, and Directors on our Tax Strategies Team.
Requirements:
* BS in Accounting. Resumes without GPA will not be considered. Please include graduation date and the number of credits expected upon graduation. A transcript is also requested.
* Strong commitment to excellence, client service and professional growth.
* The ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues as well as offering potential solutions.
* Possess a positive attitude, good communication skills and willingness to learn.
* Be a team player and motivated to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in the use of computers and software programs.
* A strong ability to understand the “big picture” quickly, identify key issues, and prioritize analysis/output among many competing tasks.
