Our client is seeking an Optical Consultant to work in their Godalming store.
Optical Consultant - The role
As an Optical consultant in our Godalming franchise Boots store you will be working on the shopfloor providing a high standard of care to our customers, recommending products to aid their Eye health and lifestyle.
You will assist in the operation of the store through effective dispensing and the delivery of excellent customer service.
You will be part of a successful retail team and receive thorough training and development to enhance and expand your understanding of optical products.
The role of a qualified Optical Consultant involves:
* Carrying out pre-checks on the customer before the eye examination
* Ordering and dispensing of glasses and contact lenses
* Teaching customers how to put in contact lenses
* Providing after sales support through repairs and adjustments
* Working together as part of a team
* Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with the running of a store
* Support other colleagues within the stores to develop their knowledge
