A Degree qualified Project Scheduler / Project Planner with an Electronics related background, Prince2 or APM Certification and with proven experience of organising 20-30 technical projects simultaneously will join a thriving Company in the Satellite Communications sector. The successful Project Scheduler / Project Planner will possess the skills to assist in the delivery of complex, challenging technical projects on time; having a good understanding of the full product development cycle, understanding the interactions between hardware and software aspects of electronic products development as well as being familiar with manufacturing processes.
The Project Scheduler / Project Planner should bring the following: An Engineering related Degree qualification + Prince 2/APM Certification.
Eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
A solid understanding of the full product development cycle.
Experience of organising and planning multiple (20-30) projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This Project Planner role will involve: Planning multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on project timescales.
Creating and maintaining detailed project schedules to ensure on time and within budget completion.
Identifying schedule risks and providing mitigation strategies.
Acting as liaison between project managers, engineers, procurement and other stakeholders.
Assessing team and resource capacity against project demands.
