If you have experience with challenging behaviours and Positive Behaviour Support and want to lead a new Learning Disability and Autism service, then join the team by the seaside as Registered Manager at Asher House.
Asher House has six bespoke single person apartments and communal spaces for men and women living with moderate learning disabilities with associated health needs or autism and behaviours which, due to their diagnosis, may be seen as challenging.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll still be involved with patient care, whilst also having overall leadership and management of the service, developing close working relationships and be responsible for the delivery of excellent care and operational performance, whilst developing commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.
As a Registered Manager, you will:
Ensure adherence to CQC standards and regulations
Ensure financial targets are met and facilitate the development of quality healthcare services ensuring that they respond to the changing needs of service users, whilst also reflecting market trends and evidence-based practice.
Contribute to the strategic development of the home, ensuring adherence to Elysium’s objectives and business plan.
Promote and enhance Elysium Healthcare’s reputation for high-quality outcomes for service users.
Understand and respond to the specific needs of individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
Participate in contract reviews and represent service delivery
Lead the supervision and annual review process for your team
To be successful as Registered Manager, you must:
Have experience with Challenging Behaviours and Positive Behaviour Support.
Be a Registered Nurse.
Have strong commercial acumen to support successful service delivery and development.
Have previous experience of managing a team within health and social care.
Have experience of or prior direct exposure to budget control, business development and revenue generation.
Be an inclusive and supportive manager, balanced with strong leadership to provide direction and implement change.
Have experience working with external agencies such as CQC, Safeguarding, CCGs etc.
Have a commitment to a person-centred approach to deliver high-quality services which enable people to lead fulfilling and meaningful lives.

Asher House consists of six bespoke, single-person apartments and communal spaces within a registered care setting with 24-hour nursing support.
Asher House provides a robust environment and high-intensity care model which is designed to support people who have a Learning Disability & Autism with highly complex needs and behaviours. This includes service users who may be stepping down from the hospital or whose community placements have broken down.
