Working Hours:
We would be happy to consider both, full or part-time roles for the right candidate.
* Full-time: 40 hours per week. We are flexible to a 4 or 5-day working week. Weekends (closed on Sundays for the foreseeable future) are, currently, 1 in 3 and are on a rota basis.
* Part-time: The role will ideally be for someone looking for around 21.25 hours per week covering Thursday and Friday with a 1:3 Saturday. However, there is flexibility in this, as extra days can be accommodated so please get in touch to have a chat.
About the Practice:
You will be joining an established practice which celebrated its 20th year in 2020. The team consists of four veterinary surgeons and they are supported by seven registered veterinary nurses, two student veterinary nurses, one veterinary care assistant, seven receptionists, and a practice manager.
The practice is built to industry leading standards and includes standard and dental digital, radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, four consulting rooms, individual cat, dog and isolation wards, and an onsite operating theatre.

What we're looking for from Veterinary Surgeon applicants:
* Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university.
* Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
* Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
* Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively.
* Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
