At Virgin Atlantic, we are passionate about attracting and retaining top talent. We are looking for a visionary leader to join our Reward and Wellbeing team as the Senior Manager – Total Reward. This role is key to driving our Total Reward agenda and ensuring we have the right proposition, products, and market positioning.
As the Senior Manager – Total Reward, you will support the VP Reward and Wellbeing to drive forward and deliver the Total Reward plan. You will work collaboratively across the People team and wider Senior Leadership Group to define, develop, and execute the Total Reward agenda.
This role reports to the VP Reward and Wellbeing and sits within the Reward and Wellbeing department. You will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team, People Leadership Team, Finance, Trade Unions, and external partners.
Day to day
* Support the VP Reward and Wellbeing to develop long-term Total Reward strategy and plans.
* Provide critical, strategic thinking, analysis, and ideas to deliver the desired business outcomes.
* Maintain market awareness to continually review current Total Reward plan and recommend adjustments to improve competitiveness.
* Prepare effective documents (e.g., presentations, board papers, analysis) to support Reward decision making and delivery.
* Partner with the business to design and recommend pay and Reward structures.
* Support the VP Reward and Wellbeing in the preparation for Remuneration Committee and executive pay recommendations.
* Manage and deliver end-to-end cyclical and ad hoc senior leader benchmarking and reviews.
* Oversee delivery of strategic Reward projects and team Plan on a Page.
* Ensure the Reward and Wellbeing team stays connected to external partners, trends, and insights.
About you
* Proven experience as a Reward leader in complex, global organisations.
* CIPD Qualified or equivalent generalist HR grounding across multiple disciplines.
* Excellent strategic and critical thinking skills with advanced analytical skills.
* Experience in delivering significant change programs and executive pay, including demonstrable experience of effective design of both short and long term incentives.
* Strong levels of self-motivation and ability to work effectively autonomously.
* Experience in negotiating and managing a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Proven working experience in use of PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
* High level of drive, enthusiasm, tenacity, and resilience.
