Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one support to families dealing with issues such as parenting, financial stress, and mental health challenges.
Conduct family assessments to identify strengths, needs, and areas for improvement.
Develop tailored support plans and strategies in collaboration with families to promote positive outcomes.
Facilitate access to resources, services, and community programs that benefit families.
Monitor progress and adapt support plans as necessary, ensuring families receive ongoing assistance as needed.
Deliver workshops and training sessions on relevant topics to empower and educate families.
Act as a liaison between families and external agencies, advocating for their needs and rights.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, family studies, or a related field.
Proven experience working with families in a support or advocacy role.
Strong understanding of child development and family dynamics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
Flexibility to work outside of regular office hours as needed to accommodate families.
Hours Per Week: 36.50
Start Time : 08:45
End Time : 17:15
Pay Per Hour: £15.84
