Business Development – UK Sales Manager Durham Permanent On site with UK travel Salary negotiable depending upon experience Company car or car allowance Competitive sales bonus We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sales Manager to join a dynamic team. This role will focus on identifying new end user clients and re-sellers, building and maintaining relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will have sales expertise, people management experience and a commitment to excellence in customer service. Role Outline Provide tailored solutions to clients, showcasing the value and importance of quality. Conduct presentations and demonstrations, creating compelling proposals to meet client needs. Conduct regular site visits to assess client needs and survey potential sites. Prepare and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and reports using CRM software. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for sales growth. Explore partnerships with organizations to enhance visibility and sales opportunities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of clients including government agencies, heritage organizations, and private sector clients. Overseeing a team, setting KPIs and mentoring Requirements Senior sales and business development experience, preferably within the construction, architecture, manufacturing, engineering sectors. Experience selling a ‘solution’ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders. Excellent negotiation skills with a strategic mindset. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. An interest in historic buildings, conservation, architectural heritage etc A full UK driving licence Able to travel across the UK to fulfil the role People management skills and experience.
