Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records and tax returns. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for financial analysis, financial planning, and compliance with tax laws. The successful candidate will have experience with accounting software, including QuickBooks and Sage, and a strong understanding of tax regulations. Responsibilities:
1. Support production of the annual and half year reports.
2. Preparation of statutory accounts for all non-listed UK companies.
3. Ownership and production of the global tax charge, including reviews of the computed charges, co-ordination of the global loss reliefs and reviews of the deferred tax recognition position.
4. Preparation of UK Tax Charge/review of overseas businesses tax figures.
5. Ownership of reporting compliance with IFRS16.
6. Oversight/Co-ordination of the global tax group position.
7. Undertake internal audit visits (split with other Group Finance Staff).
Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
2. Experience with financial planning and financial accounting.
3. Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
