Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the ENT department for a full-time Clinic Coordinator to join our team. You will be part of a well-established team in a very busy department, your role is to manage and monitor clinics and support the managerial team and secretaries with clinic related queries. Main duties of the job The main responsibilities of this role include: Referral management - use of PCS & the NHS e-Referral system Scheduling of outpatient appointments Management of waiting lists Monitoring the Telephone Reminder Service (TRS) Managing Referral to Treatment (RTT) patient pathways in line with Trust targets Monitor New and Follow up appointments Monitoring Nurse/Inpatient referrals Amending clinic templates Reviewing clinic slot utilisation Amending clinical activity in line with Rota Handling internal/external appointment enquiries The successful applicant will have: Excellent accuracy, organisational and communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Be a team player Able to work under pressure and meet demanding deadlines A high level of concentration is required and attention to detail.
