A Primary School in Grangetown is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing team. The successful candidate will work within a specialized nurture provision, supporting a group of 8 children with autism / ASD.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work alongside another TA to support children with autism in the classroom.
* Assist with delivering and adapting activities to meet the individual needs of the children.
* Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
* Plan and prepare for the week during designated PPA time on Mondays.
* Collaborate with staff to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate:
* A degree (essential).
* A willingness to get stuck in and actively contribute to the children’s development.
* No prior experience necessary, but a passion for working with children with special educational needs is key.
* A positive attitude, patience, and a commitment to making a difference.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
