CLOSING DATE: Tuesday 5th November 2024 Job Title : Cleaner Reports to: Team Leader Salary: £12.00ph per hour (£23,400) pro rata, per annum Hours of work: Part Time Part Time (12.5 hours per week) Mon-Fri 2.5 hrs per day Key Responsibilities To clean all communal rooms/areas incl. bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens; offices etc. To clean beds and cot mattresses, furniture, doors, blinds curtains, woodwork, lamp shades, fans, radiators, windows and frames. To replenish cleaning supplies and restock items such as toilet rolls, paper towels and soap dispensers; all where applicable. To wipe down all communal appliances; fixtures & fittings and furniture, as well as vacuum and shampooing of communal carpets. When cleaning kitchens, ensuring that all appliances in the kitchen are cleaned thoroughly e.g. cooker, fridge/ freezer, doors, windows, sinks and units. To empty bins within the project/scheme from all areas where applicable ensuring that all rubbish is bagged/removed to main refuge containers ready for commercial collection. To clean on a daily basis bathrooms, shower, basins, toilet, floors at each working shift (unless instructed to the contrary by scheme manager). To clean easy to reach internal sides of glazed windows to all communal areas where applicable. Clean all glazed areas in doors and panelling where necessary. Ability to recognise areas for improvement and follow. COSHH Training is desirable.
