Department: Neonatal Unit Band 2 £23,615 Per annum Hours: 37.5 per week, all MKUH roles will be considered for flexible working Milton Keynes University Hospital is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic person to join our team as a Ward Clerk in Neonatal Unit. You will need to be able to work flexibly and apply a methodical approach to a varying workload in what can be a fast-paced, pressurised environment. You should be self-motivated, have excellent communication/interpersonal skills and have the ability to work on your own as well as part of a busy team. The neonatal unit is a 16 bedded Local neonatal unit providing care to babies born premature or needing some help following birth. Interview date: w/c 28th October 2024 To be an integral part of the Neonatal Unit team, providing efficient secretarial and clerical support. The post-holder will provide an efficient, confidential and professional secretarial service to the Neonatal clinical teams. This will include administration and secretarial support to enable provision of patient care. Good communication with parents, relatives, general practitioners and other hospital staff is essential to ensure a proficient, high quality service for patients and clinicians. To monitor and manage the neonatal EPR system on the Neonatal unit, acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times. Respond to requests for information promptly and efficiently using a variety of communication methods, ensuring that information governance standards are adhered to. Ensure information is accurate and meets Trust Standards regarding delivering information. Team working and collaboration are vital.
