Your Role: As an Instrument Technician, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the compressor stations and above-ground installations that are essential to the National Transmission System. These high-pressure systems ensure gas flows smoothly across the UK’s pipeline network, supporting homes, businesses, and industries. Key responsibilities include: Installing, commissioning, maintaining, and repairing safety, control, and measurement systems at our compressor stations and above ground installations. Acting as a site controller, issuing permits, and ensuring the safe operation of works. Conducting isolations and supporting construction and commissioning of new assets. Travelling across the Rugby region, covering different sites and receiving ongoing training to develop your expertise. Standby Rota standby ranges between 1 week in 4 to 1 week in 6 depending on team size.
