Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that encompass reading, writing, grammar, and speaking skills, with a focus on both traditional and contemporary literature.
* Cultivate a classroom culture that encourages students to express their thoughts and opinions while nurturing their analytical abilities.
* Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet varied learning styles and needs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
* A degree in English, English Literature, or a related discipline (with a recognised teaching qualification preferred) QTS.
* Experience in teaching English or related subjects, whether through previous roles or student teaching placements.
* A passion for literature and a commitment to helping students discover their own voice and perspective.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
